ABOUT US
Purple Tape Productions are a company run by women, with the aim of uplifting female and gender diverse voices in the theatre.
Having started in 2022 after years of “unofficial” collaboration between Tyler Fitzpatrick and Lily Hayman, Purple Tape Productions has grown quickly, uplifting female and gender diverse voices in theatre. Winning Adelaide Fringe and Sydney Theatre Awards in 2023, they have been recognised for a strong ability to deliver exciting new work by women/gender diverse artists across multiple independent spaces. With a focus on fostering new work to the stage, Purple Tape has supported 140 artists across 11 projects, 83% of those artists identify as female or gender diverse. Specialising in new work, Purple Tape delivers bold, high-energy theatre with a strong track record across respected independent venues - nationally, and internationally.
