Lucille MacKellar: THE REBOOT - Adl Fringe 2026
Dissatisfied with her life, Lucille decides to do it over. She knows she is funny, talented and beautiful, but why does no one else seem to notice? In a desperate bid to get the recognition she’s convinced she deserves, she’s rehashing all the gems that flopped despite her genius. Watch her revisit tweets that should have gone viral, tiktoks that should have been cultural revelations and instagram stories that should have solidified her as one of the greats.
Expect a completely normal and well adjusted evening… Nothing ever goes cosmically wrong when you try to rewrite history, right?
The Infinity Mirror- Adl Fringe 2026
Google your name. Now. Our digital footprints are becoming bigger, more exposing, and easily accessible. In this conversation between Lily Hayman and an AI reconstruction of herself, we ask how much of ourselves we have already signed away.
Straight Panic
A very gay comedy about very straight people in the strange far-off land of early 2000s Sydney.
The frazzled staff of Myer George Street anticipate an ill-timed visit from their General Manager. A particularly fraught annual gathering for The McLaren Family Olympics takes place without their patriarch, who is otherwise disposed. And three befuddled boys on Cronulla Beach, in December 2005, question...everything.
Lachlan Parry puts the hysteria in hysterical in this frenzied and biting comedy – a triptych of silliness and satire.
If you think it’s the gays who are prone to histrionics, you might want to think again.
Afterglow
Every year after the Barbershop Singing National Championships, the men gather for the traditional “afterglow”. Whisky flows, dickie-bows are loosened and quartets sing booze-soaked harmonies into the small hours.
At the 2012 afterglow, Michael meets Tom. One is a barbershop purist with something to prove. The other is a first-timer with a messy suit, a bass voice and a quietly radical outlook: Why aren’t women allowed to sing at barbershop competitions too?
Over six years, their heated debate turns tender, sweet and as complex as a chromatic four-part harmony. Together, the two singers journey through their twenties and encounter some major awakenings. But barbershop has rules, both musical and social. And as Michael and Tom change, so might their place in the chorus.
From the minds of Sheanna Parker Russon (No Love Songs for Lady Basses) and Lillian M. Hearne (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812), this touching musical rom-com will have you humming long after the lights go down.
Oh, did we mention it’s sung in four-part acapella harmony?
werkaholics
Australia’s latest it-girl, Lilian, and her struggling actor best friend, Jillian, thrive on clean-girl aesthetics and dreams of stardom. But when cultural zeitgeist icon Unmoi threatens Lilian’s Instagram empire, she finds herself on the brink of cancel culture. With Jillian by her side, it’s them and manifestation versus the world—or so Lilian thinks.
werkaholics by Vivian Nguyen is a bold exploration of influencer culture, intersectional feminism, and the unfiltered truths about our evolving relationship with money, whiteness, and liberation in 21st-century capitalism. A hyper-pop interrogation of modern conundrums, it’s an absurdist and comedic take on digital hysteria.
As Lilian and Jillian navigate the ruthless demands of digital fame, mounting debt, and a shifting social landscape, Lilian is forced to decide what matters most: her dreams of fame or her best friend?
